Lieve

The Lieve lives up to her name – she is a charming saloon boat that exudes warmth, character, and timeless elegance. With her rich wooden finishes and inviting atmosphere, she offers a unique setting for private boat tours in Amsterdam, exclusive canal cruises, special celebrations, and unforgettable experiences on the water. Whether you are looking for a relaxing sightseeing cruise, a cultural journey through Amsterdam’s historic canals, or a private dining experience aboard a classic boat, the Lieve offers a truly personal way to discover the city. Accommodating up to 12 guests for drinks and up to 10 guests for a seated dinner, she is ideal for intimate gatherings, private celebrations, and memorable moments with family, friends, or business associates. Built in 1935 as an executive vessel for Ketjen (now AkzoNobel), the Lieve spent many years in Amsterdam before journeying through canals and rivers across Europe, and today she has returned to her home port of Amsterdam. Beautifully restored, she offers a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Her spacious interior and open aft deck provide ample seating both indoors and out, making her ideal for cruising year-round. We believe that the best way to experience Amsterdam is at your own pace. A private cruise aboard the Lieve offers the freedom to enjoy the city in an intimate setting, with the option of a professional tour guide, a delicious dinner, afternoon tea, or drinks on board. Discover the beauty of Amsterdam’s waterways, enjoy personalised hospitality, and create lasting memories aboard the Lieve – a timeless classic for private boat tours in Amsterdam.
