Amsterdam Light Festival Special – November 26, 2026 - 17 January, 2027
This exclusive private tour combines art, storytelling, and the magical atmosphere of Amsterdam. During this 15th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival, taking place from November 26, 2026, to January 17, 2027, the city transforms into a glowing open-air gallery with over 25 light installations by international artists. While gliding through the canals, your captain will share insights about the artworks and the artists behind them.
ALF 2026 Rates
During ALF our boats are rented at normal rates*. If you want to sail the entire ALF route, there is a surcharge of € 15,- for adults and € 7,50 for children up to 11 years old on top of the regular rates. This is the contribution that we, as an official partner, pay to the organization for the festival.
ALF Menu
During ALF the menu remains unchanged. Three(four/five) course dinner, buffet, or just drinks and bites? We are happy to assist to select your preferred food and beverages. Please be aware that during ALF some menu options are not easy to combine because of the sailing route and catering partner.
Departure & Drop off location
This special cruise departs from a central location of your choice. From most locations in the city center it is possible to sail the route in 2 hours if the cruise starts end ends at the same location. If the cruise ends at a different location than it started, we may need more time to sail the entire light festival route, though the tour can be tailored to your preferences.
Timeslots
During the Amsterdam light festival we work with specific timeslots and a minimum of 2 hours:
17:00 – 20:00 Early Dinner ALF Cruise
20:00 – 23:00 Dinner ALF Cruise
17:00 – 19:00/20:00 Drinks & Bites ALF Cruise
20:00 – 22:00/23:00 Drinks & Bites ALF Cruise
On Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, the artworks are illuminated until 22:00 o’clock, other days until 23:00 o’clock. The lights will be out on New Year’s Eve on December 31.
